I have been particularly picky about base products such as foundations, BB/CC creams or anything in this category. Though I bought a few to try in the past, I am in the process of finishing off what I have, and finding out what I would like to repurchase and what I dislike or like as a foundation or BB/CC cream. To me, this type of makeup products are faster to expire, and I would like to get my money’s worth when I decide to purchase one to use.
I am late to jump on the bandwagon of IT Cosmetics as a whole, and as a matter of fact this CC+ cream is the only item I have from this brand. I researched and researched and read mixed reviews about the CC+ cream, I eventually decided to purchase a sample size(12ml) to try.
Price: full size AU$58.00 from Sephora AU
As you can see from below, the claims of this CC+ cream are pretty big.
cruelty free, no animal testing, paraben free, made in Korea (I have first hears of BB cream from a Korea brand Misha in whigh I used to use their BB cream religiously for a long period of time.)

The product is in a plastic tube, so it’s perfect for travelling. I have been obsessed with beauty sponges (original beauty blender, RT miracle sponge and all that jazz) lately; it gives me light to medium coverage when using this type of tools. It evens out my skin tone, however, my freckles peak through. I’d say it gives a satin finish. Colour wise, it is a good match for my MAC NC20 skin. It’s light on the skin, look like skin, and the rest of makeup went on easily. When the first time I tested it, I used a matte primer on one side of my face. However I did not see any differences in relation to application and lasting power. It lasted about 7-8 hours on me(I always set my base with a mattifying powder), then I would see natural oil peaking though from my T-zone area. If I look really closely to a mirror, I can see that it slightly comes off at my nose area. It does not blur pores, and it slightly clings on dry patches that are on my nose. There is no transfer when blotting with a piece of tissue. One more thing is worth mentioning- it provided better coverage when I used a buffing brush to apply. Also my makeup does stay put throughout the day.
Verdict: I do like this product, and I will purchase a full size to add to my collection when I finish the sample size.
