Today I bring you a post about my review on Burberry eye effortless eyebrow definer. Nowadays there are so many brow products on the market, you may find it is difficult to make decisions on which one to try. I have been searching for my perfect brow products for years; honestly speaking, I find each product has its pros and cons, and it’s usually up to personal preference and your natural eyebrow condition. As to me, I prefer pencils and powders than brow pomade or wax.
I have tried several brow definers from other brands including Tom Ford, Hourglass, The Face Shop, Lioele and Anastasia Beverley Hills (a new brow product released this year). Among all these, Burberry eyebrow definer performs similarly as the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor (review). The shade I chose is 02 Sepia which is very close to my natural eyebrow colour (grayish black). When I first used it, I felt that the product is quite hard and slippery (wax like) and the colour payoff is not very impressive so I needed to build up the colour intensity however; after a few uses the slippery feel did fade away. Overall, it is a easy to use product. The shape of the definer stays pretty well in which it means there is no need to involve a sharpener. As its colour payoff is not that strong, I do not need to worry going overboard with my eyebrows looking harsh. The colour suits my natural hair colour and eyebrow colour very well; in a day when I want a natural makeup look or a no makeup look, it comes super handy as it will not scream attention but still make my eyebrow look defined yet natural. It lasts all day long without fading(it will come off if you vigorously rub it though).
I bought this product off David Jones website at Au$44.00.
