Hey guys, how you doing! Can you believe that it is November already!? Soon it will be Christmas and New Year.
I have not applied nail polishes in a long long time, and today I am bringing you a post featuring Chanel Le Vernis 757 Rose Fusion (AUS$39.00) from the Rouge Noir Absolument Collection for Holiday 2015.
This is the first Chanel nail lacquer that I own, and it is love at first swatch when I applied on my index finger in store. 757 Rose Fusion is unique, it changes colours from different angles and under different lighting. In the bottle, 757 Rose Fusion looks a mixture of purple, silver, teal and bronze. Once applied, it is a metallic sliver taupe colour in most angles however; it turns into deep purple with shine when I point my fingers downwards. Under flash, it looks more warm bronze with multicolored shimmer spreading across my fingernails.
Performance wise, it comes with a thin brush that make the application process fairly easy and mess-free. The polish is liquidy but not runny; in about two coats it can reach its full opacity. As for lasting power, I started to see sign of wear at the finger tip of one of my thumbs on the second day, probably due to housework. Today it is the fifth day I am wearing the nail polish, and most of them are still intact and looking good. Compare to my OPI nail polishes, I think the staying power of this polish is just ok which I give it 7 out of 10.(I did apply base and top coat.)
