Good afternoon, my lovely readers. Sorry that I missed my Tuesday deadline, however, I am here to present you my favourite drugstore mascara Covergirl clump crusher by lashblast (non water proof or resistant).
You may already know that I have typical straight eye lashes, and if I don’t curl it and use waterproof mascara to hold it, my lashes will go back down straight.
The original lashblast volume mascara (waterproof) is the first waterproof mascara (and one of my favourite) I bought and from there on, I was convinced that only waterproof mascaras are able to hold my curl. I truly love a good waterproof mascara, however, sometimes it is too great a pain to take it off at night and it gradually made me want to stay clear from using mascaras even though I appreciate the effects they give me, and it makes me feel more put together on the day I don’t wear full face makeup.
Now, let’s get into why I like the Covergirl clump crusher by lashblast mascara, my savior to the dilemma.
This mascara volumises (not too much but enough), separates, lengthens, darkens my lashes and mostly importantly holds the curl! It does not flake off or smudge under my eyes. At night I don’t need to rub my eyes off to take off this mascara. What a great discovery and what a great everyday mascara!
It is a dry formula mascara which I normally prefer as it won’t too much clump my lashes. The brush is a curved rubber brush which can get to all my lashes; it hugs my lashes when I go sideway (zigzag, zigzag from the root to the top) and it’s good on the bottom lashes too.
There is only one flaw with this mascara, that is, it’s non water resistant. I know there is a water-resistant version existing in other countries like US, unfortunately it’s not stocked in Australia. I did experiment with this mascara and went to have a nap with its on. My watery eyes make this mascara smudged just a smidge in my undereye area (not a lot comparing to other non-waterproof mascara I have tried), and it’s nothing like a cotton bud that wouldn’t fix. I would not recommend that you wear this mascara(non water resistant version) on important occasions like weddings if you know you would cry. For every day wear, I say it’s a fantastic one to invest and incorporate into your daily makeup routine.
Have you tried this mascara? What are you thoughts? Please recommend any other non water proof mascaras that will also hold the curl in the comments below : )
Thanks for reading.
^Stay fabulous and beautiful, stay tuned for my next post!^ (If I am not posting anything next week, that means I am in the hospital holding my precious little one for the first time, how exciting!)
