Howdy, my dear readers. As promised, here I present you my first come-back blog post – first impression on MAC Cosmetics Mineralise Blush Warm Soul.
I have yellow undertone skin and natural flush of colour rarely show up on my face unless the weather is super hot. Unavoidable, blushes are one of my favourite makeup items to purchase.

There are a large blush selection in the MAC Cosmetic blush family. Mineralise blushes are described on the website as :
Baked minerals refined into a powder blush formula to provide exceptionally sheer and lightweight application. Colour builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a luminous, pearlized shimmer. New mirrored compact (3.5 g / 0.11 US oz).
Warm Soul: Mid tone beige with gold pearl (on website)
I have heard so many good reviews about mineralise blush Warm Soul. After months of not buying makeup and applying makeup, I finally caved in and bought this baby to celebrate my resumed passion/enthusiasm in makeup.
Truth to be told, I was a little bit disappointed when I first saw this blush in person. It seems to me that warm soul is a muted peach shade with a sheen and it looks nothing spectacular in the pan. However, upon application to my cheeks, I found that it suited my warm skin tone very well, and it is worthy of the name “warm soul”. My cheeks have this instant natural glow and I look healthy.
The blush is pigmented, however, easy to blend. I feel though it suits light to medium skin tone more. It lasted on my skin for 12 hours and I don’t see much fading, so that’s impressive.
This is a perfect every day blush that will not clash with most of lipstick colours. I sense that I will make a good use out of this blush.
Below is a swatch to compare warm soul with famous Milani baked powder blush Luminos0 (another cult favourite). As you can see, luminoso on the right side is more coral/orange compared to warm soul.
Have you tried this blush and what’s your view? I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading.
