Hi dear everyone! Today’s review is on Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy 460 HOLD’EM. I bought this nail polish because of its colour, a purple toned plum shade.
Revlon claims that “Create salon-quality color in 30 vibrant shades with our revolutionary 2-step system. Brush on the base + color in one, and then finish with the protective ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat™ for superior strength. Together, they create vivid color, brilliant shine and gorgeous life-resistant wear.”
To test the “base+colour in one” claim, I skipped using my Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat and straightly applied the nail polish. It lasted six days without chipping like crazy except the time when I was trying to my nails to open some new parcels, nail polish on the tip of my left index finger came off.
Formula wise, it is not runny, thin or thick. It wasn’t much an effort for me to apply, and it did not cause much mess either – as you may all know, normally with my shaky hands, nail polish goes everywhere on my fingers!
I applied two coats to get the color intensity and like Revlon claimed, it created “brilliant shine”.
Have you tried this nail polish? Let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading.
