Hi dear everyone, I went on a work trip recently and had to pack up some makeup since I stayed overnight in that city.
To save up space, I picked those makeup products that were travel friendly.
1. Garnier BB cream( June favourite)
I have been loving this BB cream, it’s liquid-y and smooth. I didn’t bring any foundation brush to apply this product, so I used my fingers to apply; honestly, I like to apply it with brush rather than my fingers.) The product tends to come out a lot, so it’s messy to apply with fingers.
2. NARS palette
It’s a limited edition palette I think. I bought it because it has four eye shadows, the famous Laguna bronzer and one peachy colour blush called Deep Throat. It’s a nice all-in-one palette; eye shadow colours are neutral, the darkest brown colour is the most pigmented one. I wish it had a bone coloured eye shadow which it’s a staple in my eye shadow collection.
3. Sigma Brush holder
The travel version brush holder is slim, can hold a few eye brushes and two fluffier face brushes. Since it was only one night and two day travel, I chose two face brushes that can multitask.
4. MAC lipstick Angel
A light pink coloured lipstick that go with many outfit and also work friendly.
5. Benefit erase paste
I love this product! It is peachy colour and formula wise, creamy and smooth. I patted it on top of my Garnier BB cream. It helps cancel the dark blue tone under my eyes.
6. Maybelline Fit me concealer 15
I love using this lighter pinkish shade to brighten my under eye area. Along with the erase paste, it’s the best combination to hide my under eye dark circle.
7. Anastasia Brow Wiz ( June favourite)
It is in the form of a pen, it is slim and it has a eyebrow brush on the other end. It does not need to be sharpened and has a pointed tip that make the drawing on process super smooth and easy.
8. Maybelline the falsies
Favourite of favourites. My eye lashes look million time better because it’s curled and blackened.
9. Max Factor clump crusher defy mascara( June favourite)
It has a slim ad curved rubber brush. It is dry formula so I don’t need to worry it gets everywhere and smudged. I use it mainly on my lower lashes to make it depressed and longer.
10. Australis Fresh & Flawless face powder (compact) (June favourite)
It is a skin coloured face powder and it keeps my oil at bay a day. Plus I can use it as my bone coloured eye shadow to blend out harsh line.
11. Maybelline Master Precise liquid eye liner
One of my favourite liquid eyeliners, I like it because of it’s felt tip. It does not smudge at all after it sets however it don’t think it is water proof (does that sound weird?) The reason why I said it’s not water proof because sometime my eyes are watery after applying makeup and the eye liner that I drew did fade away.
12. Tangle Teezer
Tangled hair’s savior! It’s the right size for my makeup bag comparing to Michael Mercier’s detangling hair brush.
13. NYX dewy skin setting spray
I normally use it to set my makeup as the name suggests, however, I find it also can act as a toner to moisture and fresh my skin. To kill two brids at one stone, I only took this setting spary rather than taking my usual toner.
