Hi my dear everyone, how is your weekend so far? Today is the first day of winter in Australia, it’s windy and chilly! I can’t believe that it’s already the beginning of June 2014, time sure flies.
Today’s post is about my May favourite makeup items.
1. Wet n Wild Colouricon Bronzer SPF15 743A Reserve Your Cabana
It is champagne colour with subtle sheen. I like wearing this on the very top of my cheeks during the weekdays as it’s subtle but It’s not a bronzer, that’s for sure.
2. Wet n Wild 8 pan Colouricon eyeshadow 738 Comfort Zone
I heard so many good things about this comfort zone palette, I’m happy that I have personally put it to test. I love every colour in this palette, they are super pigmented, smooth and lasts for a long time even on my oily eyelids. I heard that it does fall out when applying however I don’t feel the same way.
3. Bourjois Bronzing Powder 52
I love this bronzer, it warms up my face instantly when I apply without looking muddy and dirty. I think it is the perfect shade for me as I learnt that choosing a bronzer that is only two shades darker than your skin tone.
4. Make Up Store Blush Must Have
A perfect peach-coral colour blush, it is very pigmented and easy to blend, it adds life and look natural on my NC20 skin.
5. Maybelline Fit me concealer 15
It’s the perfect shade for highlighting, as it has pink undertone which contrast my foundation and brighten my under eye area and other areas that need to be highlighted.
6. Jordana 12 HR Made to Last Eyeshadow pencil 04 continuous almond
First of all, it’s very affordable. Secondly, it covers any discolouration on my eyelids and make eyeshadow stand out and last longer. I switch this between M.A.C paint pot painterly, I feel this Jordana eyeshadow pencil even performs better when it comes to lasting power.
7. Australis stay put long lasting retractable eyeliner Chocolate
I got this as a free gift. I love that it’s retractable so I don’t need to sharpen it (absolutely dislike the process). It is creamy, easy to smudge for the smoky effect and won’t drag on your skin(a must in eyeliners). I did a test that I scrubbed the liner after I applied it on the back of my hand, while the intensity did go, the line stayed on.
8. Arbonne makeup primer
I am still in love with this primer. It just hides my pores so nicely that my foundation can be applied smoothly and flawlessly.
9. Maybelline the falsies volume express very black waterproof
I bought a non-waterproof version before, it did not hold my curls at all. However this waterproof version, I love love it. It holds my curl, makes my eyelashes super black and also lengthens them. The only thing I would say is that it does not separate my lashes as the formula is very wet.
Thanks so much for reading.
