Hi my dear readers. Hope you had a nice day so far wherever you are: ) Today I am going to share my thoughts with you about the Whitening lightening Dial a Smile Kit that I showed in my makeup haul last week.
The kit (with a bonus pen) priced at US $129.00, and you can find the product on the Whitening Lightening website. Also they often have sales or discount codes available. The whole Dial a Smile Kit is enough for three treatments and it claims that teeth are 4-7 shades whiter after 20 minutes of application. The kit provides you with a paper wheel so you can determine what shades of your teeth are from a scale of 1 to 16, three vitamin cotton buds to protect your gum, three wipes to clean your teeth before you use the treatment and a brush to paint the treatment onto your teeth. You also get a handheld LED light to stimulate the teeth whitening process.
Before I got the kit, I was using a product called “Hollywood Night ” by Peral Drops (claimed that you will have your teeth six shades lighter) that I bought in local pharmacy Priceline (my favourite store). After seven days of using it, my teeth were about 2-3 shades whiter than before.
I was very excited and anxious to test the kit out myself as I read different reviews (good and bad) about this kit product from You Tube and Instagram.(Truth is not until I bought the product, I then read bad reviews. Well, such is life).
Finally it is my time to witness the magic! So how did I go? Here are my experience and thoughts:
My teeth were about shade 9 on the wheel (even after the Hollowood Night whitening treatment, sigh! I know it’s not good hehehe<embarrassed laugh>). After the first 20 minutes application I looked at my teeth in the mirror and thought “that’s no way my teeth is 4-7 shades whiter!”. Actually it’s about one or two shades whiter. To be honest, I can’t say that I was not disappointed. Now after using all the treatments, my teeth are about four shades whiter (I hope I was using the kit properly). In my opinion, the Dial a Smile Kit works better for people who already have whitish teeth or teeth that are not quite stained like mine. If you do have more stained teeth, you probably need a couple of these kits to get a better result.
With respect to the bonus pen, I have been using it every night since last Thursday (no need to brush the treatment off until morning, so it’s recommended to be used before bedtime); I have to say that each morning I can see my teeth a little whiter. So I think my teeth eventually became four shades whiter due to the kit and the pen working as a combo.
I want to mention that I do like their lip glosses and brow product a lot which I will do swatches and reviews at a later stage. So will I buy this product again? I would say I probably won’t get the Dial a Smile kit, however I would definitely re-purchase the pen, the lip glosses and the brow product when they are running out.
Please leave your comments if you have tried this product before and let me know your experiences and thoughts.
Thanks for reading.
